More Details: Little Machine Shop sent a replacement apron and a saddle as these parts are pinned together.  Replacing just the apron may have led to some misalignment with the carriage movement rack.  Once I got things back together the carriage still didn't move that smoothly.  It turns out there were still several area that needed some tuneup. UPDATE: This was discovered to be the leadscrew cover not lining up correctly and binding in apron. For now, I've just did away with the cover.

Here you can see the third leadscrew control lever gib-screw - normally hidden from view by the control lever assembly.

Here is a view of the leadscrew showing some of the many dings that are present. They seem to not be a problem, but on a brand new machine? Puh-leeeeze!

Here you can see the hole misalignment between the leadscrew cover and the bed. Caused some serious binding in the apron as you traversed towards the tailstock. Current solution is to just remove the cover.
